Bred with passion, raised with love — Tintop Cairn Terriers
Meet our puppiesWe are a small, dedicated kennel located in the countryside, breeding Cairn Terriers true to their Scottish heritage. Our dogs are family first, show champions second. Every Tintop puppy is raised with early neurological stimulation, comprehensive health testing, and loads of socialization.
The Cairn Terrier hails from the Scottish Highlands and Isle of Skye, bred to hunt vermin among the rocky cairns. One of the oldest terrier breeds, they are the forefathers of both the West Highland White and Scottish Terrier. [citation:1]
Fearless, intelligent, and affectionate — Cairns are "big dogs in a small package". They are playful well into their teens and form deep bonds with their families. [citation:2]
With a lifespan of 12–15 years, the Cairn is robust. Responsible breeders test for liver shunts, patellar luxation, and eye disorders. [citation:10]
Our foundation sire, multiple BIS winner with a flawless temperament.
Sweet-natured dam, OFA excellent hips, clear liver shunt.
